Antiquing at Lakewood

What a fun weekend we had in Atlanta......the weather was just gorgeous (60 degrees)!  So Sunday we decided to trek on up to Cumming and see what was happening at the Lakewood 400 Antique Mart.  Here are some photos of the fantastic items we saw on our sunny/warm adventure out Sunday afternoon!

Here was Mr Peacock out strutting his stuff!  What a great piece of art!

And these playful roosters were joining in on the fun!

Found these unique glass flowers too.....they reminded me of the Bellagio Casino in Vegas.

Another vendor had the most beautiful steeple shadowbox displays!

And I just fell in love with this cherub base lamp!

And oh my......and this burl wood dresser just took my breath away!

These items are all on my wish list!

Lakewood Antique's Mart is the 3rd weekend of every month.  So if you are ever in the Atlanta area, this show is a "must see" for your list of exciting things to do!

  1. Hi Lynn,
Thanks for stopping by! It looks like we had the same weekend plans!! I am so jealous you have a fabulous monthly antique market. The cherub lamp is drool worthy! I can't wait to see more so I signed up, talk again soon!

  2. Your antique market looks fabulous! I enjoyed the stoll through it with you and love the shadowbox shown.

  3. Great! Now I know where to go next month when I have company. thanks so much for the great tip. Looks like a fun bunch of stuff. Maybe one other day trip will be to your store in woodstock. Thanks a Million, Keri ... I'll be back, I just love this blog.

  4. I miss the old Lakewood down at the fairgrounds....always found great stuff there...Have not been up to the one off of 400 yet but I still go down to Scott's...It's gotten alot better since the second building has expanded outdoors....Now if we could just get some more nice weather and get rid of the cold!!

Thanks for stopping by!
