This past Friday, the Georgia Bloggers invited me to join them for their monthly luncheon at Tea Leaves & Thyme here in Woodstock, GA. What a fun time it was for all. We ate, exchanged gifts, chatted and made new friends. And I meet some of the most delightful ladies!
Lunch was delicious. I had Pecan Chicken for lunch! Wow it was good!
And the blueberry hot tea......it was so tasty!
We even had a White Elephant exchange to make things more fun!
I was the lucky winner of this beautiful teacup....isn't it cute?
And then there was birthday cake to celebrate a couple of special birthdays in the group.
We were graciously greeted and hosted by Sue, who made us all feel so welcome!
Afterwards, we all came back to the store, for more fun shopping!
What a great group of gals that are part of the Georgia Bloggers. Our hostess Sue, came into the store last summer and started telling me about her blog. And when I took a look at her blog, I was immediately hooked! And what a fun and enlightening experience it has been. I am so glad I found the world of blogging!

One day I decided that my laundry room was a mess and out of control! Then I had a flashback to a conversation with a design customer of mine from the store. When I visited her home for a design consult she took me into her laundry room and showed me how she had fixed it up. The customer had decorated her shelves and walls with all the artwork and photos of her kids and grandchildren. It was so cute! And I remember so vividly what her comment was to me....."If I have to spend so much time in here doing laundry, I might as well make it look pretty and enjoyable!"So with that in mind and inspiration from a dear customer, I made a few changes in my laundry room........
This beautiful vintage oil painting is one that I won at the Dear Daisy Cottage blog giveaway last month. It just had to go in my nook by the cabinet, with all my favorite storage boxes.
And of course I had to show off my favorite candles.....Trapp Candles.....
Today I am participating in My Romantic Home's, Show and Tell Friday. Please be sure and stop by and visit all the great blogs that are listed this week!

The first Friday of every month our downtown association hosts a Friday Night Live event. Most of the merchants located downtown will stay open late for shoppers to come shop and visit. There are several musicians playing on the street and all of our restaurants are bustling with patrons enjoying the evening. Here are some photos taken from our booth.
