Eclectic Antiquities

Weekends are great for browsing the flea markets, garage sales and festivals for antiques and unusual architectural pieces.  And I can never resist the eclectic items where the rustic is mixed with the formal.
Here are a couple of treasures I found this summer......
I can't wait to use this pewter tray during the holidays!  What do you think I should use it for?????

My silver coffee pot above is gracing the walls in my laundry room right now.  I have the room decorated with all kinds of artwork.  I'm styling while I do my laundry!  It might as well look good, being I spend so much time in there!!!

This week I'm participating in My Romantic Home's Show and Tell Friday.  Be sure and stop by and see all
the fun blogs!

And we are joining Bargain Hunting with Laurie for their blog party this weekend!

  2. Pretty things! Is that coffee pot attached to the wooden piece? I agree that colorful cookies would look perfect on that tray.

  5. The tray is pretty enough to eat all by itself! It would be a shame to cover it in cookies! LOL! On the other hand, cookies never last very long around our house at the holidays, with so many boys (son, nephews, etc) so the tray would be visible soon enough.
