FLIP Restaurant

One beautiful, sunny, and finally, warm day the end of March, my boys took me out to lunch at one of the most interesting and unique restaurants in the Atlanta area.  It was FLIP which is located on Howell Mill Road.   Their chef is Richard Blais from the Food Network's "Iron Chef".  And oh, and the food was so good.  I had the Philly Beef Burger and a Mango Martini on the side!

The whole design on the inside is so edgy and interesting.  The ceiling is reflective of the rest of the restaurant, with white booths hanging from above.  Very fun atmosphere!

All-in-all it was a very enjoyable afternoon....the company was fantastic, the food was delicious and the drinks divine!

This restaurant is a definate "must-see" if you are in Atlanta!

Afternoon Tea

Just had to share these photos with you of a special lunch that I had at the Tea Leaves and Thyme Tea Room with my son.  He treated me out for a surprise lunch on my birthday!  He just showed up and said "Let's go, we have a luncheon date at 1pm Mom".  And off we went!  The girls at the tea room had fun with John.  But I think he enjoyed it as much as I did.  The food was divine and so was the strawberry tea we had that day!

And then there was dessert.......chocolate........!

Such a fun luncheon date!

What an afternoon to remember.......I know I will remember this birthday for years to come. 

Oh, and by the way, he's single girls!
