Don't You Just Love Fall?????  I know I do......it's Pumpkin Latte time, fireplace time and time to put out the mums and pumpkins!

At the shop, it is time to replant our iron flower bed out in front of the store.......I pondered as to what I should plant and what would last all winter......

And with some guidance and advice from Pike's Nursery, here's what we decided on......

Some Fox Red Curly Sedge ornamental grass by the headboard......which is deer resistant too......and they grow 2-3 ft tall & wide....

Flowering Kale - Red Bor for the middle area.....very cold hardy.......

For around the top edges of the bed, we planted some Blue Mazus Toe Ticklers.....they are a semi-evergreen perennial with a pale lavender flower.....

And of course, we filled in the rest with the ever popular pansy.......multi colors in the bed, and white pansies with the purple center for around the outside of the bed and in the front.

Hopefully all will thrive and bloom throughout our winter months.

Our Iron Bed Garden has been photographed all summer by people driving by the store.  I'm hoping our new flowers will bring the same source of happiness and joy to those passing by!

Happy Fall to you all! :)

Please let me know what you think of the new floral selections.....for our Fall Iron Bed.....

We are located on Main Street in Woodstock......you all probably know us by the Big Chair out front.....now our customers will know us by the Iron Flower Bed in historic Woodstock.
