Holiday Girl's Night Out!

Thursday evening we participated in the Woodmont Golf and County Club's, "Girl's Night Out" Holiday Shopping Event, in the very northern burbs of Atlanta.  What a festive occasion it was for all.  Complete with raffle prizes given out every 10 minutes!  The proceeds from the event are supporting the charity, Angel House of North Georgia, a transitional-living home for girls ages 12 to 18.   What a great time of the year to support such a wonderful charity.

Here are some photo's from Thursday night's event...................

Be sure and check out the next Girl's Night Out event at the Woodmont Golf and Country Club in the Atlanta area.

Eclectic Antiquities

Weekends are great for browsing the flea markets, garage sales and festivals for antiques and unusual architectural pieces.  And I can never resist the eclectic items where the rustic is mixed with the formal.
Here are a couple of treasures I found this summer......
I can't wait to use this pewter tray during the holidays!  What do you think I should use it for?????

My silver coffee pot above is gracing the walls in my laundry room right now.  I have the room decorated with all kinds of artwork.  I'm styling while I do my laundry!  It might as well look good, being I spend so much time in there!!!

This week I'm participating in My Romantic Home's Show and Tell Friday.  Be sure and stop by and see all
the fun blogs!

And we are joining Bargain Hunting with Laurie for their blog party this weekend!

Arts Festival

Over the Labor Day weekend my husband and I ventured out on Sunday to check out the Marietta Arts Festival here in Georgia.  What a beautiful day it was.......it was so much cooler this weekend and just perfect for an outdoor show!  The festival was packed with all sorts of fun items, fountains, wine coolers, paintings, jewelry and more.  But I just have to share the most unusual thing that I saw at the event........the port-a-pottys.......the pictures just speak for themselves.......

These are just the ultimate in artwork.....don't you think?  This is the first time I've ever seen one look so nice!
