Taste of Woodstock
What a great time we had participating in the "Taste of Woodstock" at Woodstock High School last Saturday, January 16th. The event was a fundraiser for the high school winter guard. And over 20 local restaurants were there sharing some fantastic samples of their most popular menu items, along with other vendors. My personal favorite dish & dessert was the vanilla & chocolate layer cake w/ dark chocolate icing........yumo delicious!!! And of course I was the loving wife and brought a huge piece home for my hubby, being I gave up sweets for my New Year's resolution. He loved it!

Snowfall in Georgia
Snowflakes were falling in Georgia this afternoon. Our cherub statuary at the business was beautifully draped with snow. Just had to capture this lovely creature on my way out this evening. Though we only received a dusting of snow just north of Atlanta, there was excitement everywhere. Children were playing outside, and the sound of laughter could be heard echoing thru the neighborhood. Made me want to go outside and throw a snowball! Snow is quite a novelty here! We love the white stuff!
